Recent media releases have informed about PokerStars highest cash player traffic registered over the last weekend, but many people still wondering who’s right after Poker Stars. Here’s the list of the top 3 online poker sites according to the traffic registered during the first days of 2008.

 

1- Poker Stars: The poker giants still in number one place after reporting that a total of 20.000 players logged onto the website during the weekend.

2 - Full Tilt Poker: The site reported that a total of 10.000 players at real cash tables over a 24 hour period.

3- Party Poker – Even when the site has been doing all what is possible to gain more customers outside the U.S, the online poker room still getting an impressive amount of visitors. The numbers are not yeat released, but the site normally reports from 7500 to 8000 players during peak times.

 
The remaining sites feature names such as UltimateBet, Absolute Poker and Bodog Life, which are promising to come up in the next months due their aggressive advertising. UltimateBet and Absolute Poker are twin poker sites run by independent managements, but combined they would rank as the 6th largest online poker traffics behind PokerStars, Full Tilt, PartyPoker.
