The qualification rounds for the NBC Heads-Up Championship are more or less like the movie Highlander…Only one can survive…Playing at the NBC Heads-Up Championship is an experience that many poker players want to try at list once in their lifetime, but the road to get there is hard since only one seat will be given away to non invited players. The winner will join a selected list of poker players in the NBC Heads-Up Poker Championship, an event that will be taking place from February 28th to March 2nd at the Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.  The satellite tournament starts next February 17th at 2:00 pm, with a $500 buy-in plus $40 entry fee. Daily single table satellites begin February 1st at 9am.  The Caesars Palace Poker Room is one of the finest locations for playing poker in Las Vegas, the room features a total of twenty nine tables and it offers a great selection of games including Texas Hold’em, Seven-Card Stud and Omaha. With more than 14,000 square feet, including a 6,000 square foot tournament area and 33 tournament tables, it is the largest poker room on the Strip. More than 20 large-screen high-definition TV sets ornament the walls, along with an extensive menu and dedicated cocktail service allow players to enjoy a wonderful service at the tables during the game. 

 
The National Heads-Up Poker Championship will congregate 64 of the world's best poker players in a series of heads-up matches to find out who’s the best face to face poker player in the world. The tournament has an exclusive format of elimination rounds similar to the one used from in college basketball tournaments and it will be recorded and broadcasted by NBC and CNBC.
