WDIAV Poker Freeroll

First off I am a member of a great poker forum at We Do It All Vegas, a fun online gamming community. As an active member I am eligible to participate in the Communities great member incentive programs. Just recently I had earned enough points to have some funds deposited into my Full Tilt Poker account.

Today I started out playing in a few $1.25 SNG (sit-n-go) tournaments. This is my normal range of play and has been somewhat comfortable and successful playing at this level and denomination. However today was full of bad beats, suck outs and poor calls, by some of the other players in the three tournaments I played in. Of course in my mind my game was solid and flawless, as I always do when I let other player’s game play get to me. I should’ve said I’m done for the night and signed off my personal online casino. That’s what I should’ve done instead I took my new funds and entered a $10.00 = $1.00 SNG and lost my shirt by those worse players too. I say bad players but in my mind I think they were the same bad players as before only with more money. I unfairly call them ”trust fund donks”.

In the end I realize that it was my error in judgment that caused me to be unsuccessful in tonight’s card sessions. I should’ve stuck to my comfort level and within my bankroll guidelines. I am going to set better goals both weekly and monthly. I am going to determine a start and stop point. I will also continue to focus on my personal game rather than the play of others and improve on my note taking when I do run into a bad opponent.

So please learn to crawl before you walk. Continue to focus on your game and your level of play. Understand your bankroll and at what denominations you are willing to play. And become successful at that level. Then when you are completely comfortable slowly move to a different level and start again.
