I am a student at USF and enjoy playing poker online and live in Tampa florida... I am obsessed with the gorgeous game of soccer and have been over to europe to experience the world cup! Also I support the TB Bucs and Lightning; not to mention the Manchester United football club...

play for fun drunk or high, however, I have a major issue with
this. If indeed you are one of those poker players who constantly play
to win, then you should always play sober. If you are driving down the
road, drinking your Coors or Bud, and get pulled over, you will receive a
D.U.I. Well I believe if you play drunk or high you should receive some
sort of punishment. Thus a P.U.I.
Playing drunk is absolutely stupid!
Your judgment is heavily impaired, and you never should play cards for high
stakes drunk or under the influence. Overall you will make loose calls or
stupid decisions. I myself have played drunk, it was with my friends. I made
loose calls and got lucky to win it all. But in the long run your will
run out of luck. Your BAC will catch up to you, in the end, playing drunk
or high will cost you chips and money. Be smart and play sober...
Many pros preach this concept but for some reason, many players do not even get
the message.
So next time you play that home game and decide to some a joint. That’s fine;
but if it’s for real, and legit, one should definitely be smarter and prep for
the big game. Would someone play in the Ivey death match drunk? I think
not...
