Caesars
Palace Hotel and Casino in partnership with AEG Live announced that the word famous
super star Cher will be presenting a new and unique show: Cher
at The Colosseum This unique musical show will be staged at the exclusive Caesars Palace “Collosseum”. The show’s choreography
will be planned and managed by the also world famous Doriana Sanchez and
complemented with costumes designed by the acclaimed fashion icon, Bob Mackie. The
show starts on May 6th at the Caesars Palace.
She'll perform twelve shows and then she will come back in August when she
alternates show nights with Bette Midler. Her agreement with AEG Live ends up
in three years.
"I started in Vegas at
Caesars, so I've come full circle. I'm back and I plan to give my fans the best
experience yet. I think everybody knows I only do things in a big way." Cher said.
The 61
years old Diva counts with more than 40 years of experience on the stage, Cher’s last live presentation was the successful “Farewell
Tour” in 2005, making $192.5 million in a total of 273 shows, the
ninth-highest-grossing tour in history, according to Billboard Boxscore.
Cher has released more than 25 albums and sold
over 100 million copies all over the world during her solo career.

on her Farewell Tour, which was a remarkable endurance test and a hugely
popular draw. With her elaborate costumes, long list of hits and over-the-top
presentation, I can't think of another artist more suited to Vegas. A Cher concert is just a really good time." says Billboard touring Editor Ray Waddell.
