best starting hand you can get in poker. There are many ways to play
it and depending on your table position is how you would handle
them. AA- in early position UTG I would always raise at least 6-7 times
the BB. The closer you are to the button really changes the way you would
play them.
It also depends on how the
players in front of you act. If you have a raise in front of you I would
not do a minimum raise rather I would raise 3 times the raised amount by that
player. Now if you get re raised by the player who raised first you have
one move and that is to go all in. But if you get a smooth call by that
player now you have to see what the flop is. More than likely the player
who acted first will push to see where he is at in the hand no matter what the
flop is.
Now if he/she checks I would think for a second and then throw in a bet of 3 / 4 the size of the pot. Most of the time you will take it down right there, now I know this is kind of common knowledge but I have seen A-A cracked by horrible hands cause the player that had them slow played himself right out of the pot. So if you ever get A-A always play it strong, it is the best poker strategy you can apply. If you slow play it, you’re just begging to get out flopped.
