Ok here we go I have to start off by saying I’m not huge on the poker freeroll tournaments on Full Tilt Poker except for WDIAV of course.  I mean first you start off with a field of 2700 people with is big enough.  Add on top of that the fact that only the top 1% gets ITM.  Then the first prize is only $12.  So you play for 3 hrs+ for a chance to get $12 dollars.  So basically to win one of these is like hitting the lottery.  But in all fairness I have cashed a few times in them I got 3rd once and made a huge $9.  But in all fairness there are some good freerolls that the different sites put on. 

Remember that not many players play their real game or at list play carefully at the freerolls.  In real poker people actually they care what their cards are and the type of wager they are making.  About 50% of the players will go all in with any cards.  Its joking called the lotto flop.  Everyone is just hoping for those miracle cards to hit.  So the only strategy I can give you is this

1. Get luckily early.  Be one of those ones who go all in first hand.  Building a big starting stack will help you in the further game.  If you’re lucky enough to make it past that first hand then
2. Try to play super tight.  Playing loose might work as well but until the first break there will still be donkeys around looking to make bad plays and get lucky on you.  Like I said before once the field is thinned to about half then the actual poker starts so if you’re playing tight until the first break you can start to open up your game.
