Full Tilt
Poker has recently implemented a new system called "Tournament
dollars" or T$ for short. When I first saw the tournament dollar
balance show up on my Full Tilt account, I was curious as to how it worked. I
went to the Full Tilt's website and couldn't find a single detail on its home
page. I went to their forum next and that’s when I found some information on
it. I am here basically to share some of my findings on this matter.
The first
thing you should know is that Tournament dollars (T$) are accumulated by
winning satellites to real money tournaments. For example, say you play in a
midnight madness sit n go satellite and you win entry. You can either (A)
Choose to play in the midnight madness tournament or (B) Unregister from the poker
tournament at the tournament lobby and have the buy-in of that tournament
(which is $10+1) automatically transferred into your T$ account. Say you
chose for option (B). Now you have $11 in your T$ balance. Again, there
are two options as to what you can do with that 11 T$.
(A) You can
choose to use that 11 T$ to play in another real money tournament that
does not exceed $11 or (B) you can add your 11 T$ into your real
money bankroll. Say you want to add to your bankroll and opt for option B. You
would go about this by clicking "Cashier" in your account and
then clicking "Convert T$". Enter the amount you want to convert and
press "Convert" Note: Full Tilt charges 5% commission to
convert T$ into real cash. So if you choose to convert 11 T$, you will
receive +$10.45 to bankroll after commission. I hope this clears things up.
