Las Vegas discount CouponsStation Casinos is currently planning what could be its biggest and most expansive project in Las Vegas in over 30 years of existence, an enormous and ambitious plan to develop a complex larger, bigger and stunner than the multi billion City Center. The project tentatively called Viva would be built in a 110 acre area located on Tropicana Avenue, the cost of this project could easily reach the $10 billion, is intended to be developed in phases. A total of three new Las Vegas hotels with 5,200 hotel rooms and a large casino are expected to be built during the initial phase of the project.

"As we started looking at the site, originally we were talking about one hotel-casino. But as we got more property we decided we have the ability to put multiple properties on there and create a whole development. It takes years to get a design completed. Point of fact is we're going to be in a position where CityCenter is going to be open. We're going to have some visibility on how they're doing before a project like this is even going to be in the ground. Based on the build-out and density of what we're planning, it would be similar in size and scale to the CityCenter project." said the Station Casinos President Lorenzo Fertitta.

This project could take more than half a decade to be completed and Station Casinos' plans come when other projects such as Crown Las Vegas, Cosmopolitan and the Tropicana have been putted on hold due some financial problems. But this is not the case and Deutsche Bank gaming analysts think that Stanton will have no problems finding the funds needed thanks to its impeccable reputation as a developer and designer. Station is currently discussing the details with several financial institutions and probable partners to finance the Viva project. Station Casinos is also dealing with several hotel brands interested in getting into the project.

Station Casinos started in 1976 by Frank Fertitta Jr. as a gambling hall where Palace Station Hotel and Casino is now located, Station also owns and operates three casinos, co-owns two casinos and manages an American Indian casino in California.
