Continental Airlines is giving
all its passengers the opportunity to win 21 million frequent-flyer miles as
part of a commemorative poker tournament in the gambling capital of the world: Las Vegas. The Continental
Airlines four days Texas Hold'em event will be held at the famous Golden Nugget
Hotel and Casino on August 6th, 2008 as part of the 21st anniversary
of Continental’s OnePass frequent-flyer program. The Golden Nugget Las Vegas has
been honored with the AAA Four-Diamond Award since 1977 and it stands as one of
the most luxurious and exclusive hotels on the Fremont Street Experience. With
more than 1,900 rooms and suites; a comfortable and exclusive casino, race and
sports book, poker room; nightly entertainment and several top-notch
restaurants; the luxurious Golden Nugget is definitely a wonderful location for
this fantastic poker event.
The tournament’s grand
prize can be exchanged for up to 400 round-trip economy SaverPass tickets
within the United States
or it can be used to bid on exclusive OnePass Online Auction items including
premier sporting events, VIP performing arts experiences and exclusive vacation
packages. The top finalists will also get prizes which include dinners at the
Grotto Ristorante and Vic & Anthony's restaurants at the Golden Nugget
Hotel.
The poker tournament will
be preceded by a cocktail party reception on Fremont Street for players and their
guests. The tournament features an entry fee of 50,000 OnePass miles and the registration
is limited. Also, all players are required to book the event package with the
