British
superstar Elton John and one of Sin City’s most profitable performers has
announced that he is ready to be back in Las Vegas next June 3rd and
will remain in town presenting his audacious show titled “Elton John: The Red
Piano” until June 22nd. But before Elton John returns to Las Vegas,
the singer will be taking his flamboyant show to Alaska from May 28th to May 30th.
After several concerts outside the U.S including Austria,
Singapore, Australia, New
Zealand and China,
Elton John plans to come back to Las
Vegas from July 23rd to August 2nd
and again in late October.
The pop
star and composer will perform a total of 14 shows at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace Hotel and Casino. John is currently sharing the
stage of the Colosseum with two other great performers, Cher and the unique
Bette Midler and her most recent show accurately called “The Show must go on”.
Elton John has sold more than 250 million albums worldwide and counts with a
total of 18 number one hits in over 35 years of musical career. The 60 year old
pop artist was introduced into the Songwriter’s Hall of Fame in 1992 and in the
Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1994.
“The
Red Piano” is an original creation of the pop singer and the world famous producer,
designer and photographer Dave LaChapelle. The celebrated Las
Vegas show opened in 2007 as part of the shows selected to alternate
with Celine Dion’s “Bright New Day” and so far has positioned among the top selling
events in the City of Lights.
