The pioneering
team responsible for the creation of the mega successful Tao Las Vegas is proud
to announce LAVO, the most recent
addition of the Palazzo Resort Hotel Casino in Las Vegas set to open next
August, 2008. Marc Packer, Rich Wolf, Jason Strauss and Noah Tepperberg are all
part of The Team, the group that created the highly successful Tao Las Vegas at
the Venetian Resort Hotel and Casino, which quickly became one of the most attractive
gastronomic and nightlife destinations in
Lavo was designed
and conceived by AvroKo, and integrated design and concept firm that has
developed architectural environments and design concepts for hotel groups including
the Starwood and for restaurants such as the Stanton Social and Public in New
York and Social House and Company in Las Vegas.
The
restaurant and nightclub gets its name from the Latin for “to clean”, which is a
concept that clearly matches the decoration inspired upon the Roman bathhouses.
Lavo’s decoration was carefully selected and crafted to provide an authentic Mediterranean
ambience surrounded with shabby tile walls and water splashed plaster, wooden and
low chandeliers, leather chairs and tables, carves stone walls and Turkish
water basins.
Lavo’s will
feature a 180 seat main dining room, a 20 seat private dining room and 100
seats on the outdoor patio facing the magnificent Las Vegas Strip. Lavo’s menu
was selected and crafted by Chef Ludo Lefebvre and his team of veteran and
skilled chefs will take guests to a gastronomic expedition that include
traditional and modern Mediterranean recipes from countries such as Spain,
Greece, France and Italy. With years of experience in classic French cuisine,
Chef Lefebvre comes to
