The Second Annual Artexpo Las Vegas (AELV) will be back at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino from September 19th to September 21st opening with a social event in benefit of the Las Vegas-based, non-profit Sunrise Children's Foundation.

The AELV is produced by The Art Group; creators of the Artexpo New York (AENY) and Art Miami and one of the top art show producers in the world. The Art Group launched AELV as a counterpart of the Artexpo New York (AENY), which begun as a regular art event in 1978 and became the #1 art market and show in New York after only two years. The 30th anniversary Artexpo New York 2008, which also introduced the Artexpo Hall of Fame, brought more than 30,000 visitors. The show, which is open to the trade and to the public, will feature art from more than 300 exhibitors from all over the world. Like the Artexpo New York, AELV focuses on renowned artists both nationally and internationally and the galleries and publishers that represent them, with the idea of exhibiting original paintings, sculptures and limited edition prints. Visitors will have the chance to enjoy a wide collection of art pieces that include from the Rolling Stones' Ronnie Wood to the XVII century Dutch painter Rembrandt, as well as works from Wyland, Christopher M., Romero Britto, Andy Warhol and Anne Packard, and many others. The exhibition and art show will also feature the new Solo section, which focuses on promising and independent artists; the Exposure section, which will feature photographs by legendary and new photographers and the American Style-sponsored Decorative Arts and Design Pavilion.

More than 3,000 trade buyers and over 7,000 individual consumers and collectors are expected to attend the 2008 Artexpo Las Vegas, life artist and muralist Wyland will perform a live painting event every day during the Las Vegas event; the show will also count with the San Diego-based modern realist painter Christopher M., acclaimed for his pulsating and vivacious “Culinary Collection.". Christopher M was also designated to create the official AELV 2008 poster. Tickets will round $10 per day, and $5 for seniors/students. Children 12 and under are free.
