Golden Gate Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas has announced an agreement with the innovative digital solutions company Agilysys, Inc to acquire the Visual One property management solution and InfoGenesis POS(TM) solution as part of a series of actions contemplated to modernize its daily operations.

Golden Gate Hotel & Casino is located in downtown Las Vegas and is part of the legendary Fremont Street Experience. Created in 1906 and awarded in 2008 as the 'Best Downtown Hotel' in 2008 by the Las Vegas Review-Journal, the Golden Gate is the most historic Las Vegas hotel and casino and has become worldwide famous for its 'Original Shrimp Cocktail' among other things.

"The Visual One property management solution and InfoGenesis POS solution will play an important role in the transformation of Golden Gate into a premier boutique property in downtown Las Vegas. These systems give our smaller hotel the same types of technical abilities and reporting that the larger mega-resorts enjoy, but in a way that works for our scale. The Visual One property management system offers a variety a features and functionality including front desk operations, guest history and index, housekeeping services, night audit, reservations administration, room maintenance and travel agent operations. The Las Vegas hotel will also put in service an account receivable module, which automatically imports direct bill check-outs from the hotel system to the proper account as well as a web booking module that will enable guests to check room rates and availability, reserve a room and get a real-time confirmation code.

The Golden Gate Hotel and Casino will also get the InfoGenesis POS touch-screen terminal application, which is a centralized database that manages all food and beverage functions and provides food and beverage managers with all the necessary information to offer a more competent service and to reduce any potential losses.
