Renaissance Las Vegas launches innovative social network marketing

Since the launching of sites such as Hi 5, Myspace and other social media
sites, millions of internet users have populated these social networks to share
information, files, tips and personal interests with millions of users around
the globe. However, in the recent months, dozens of companies have also joint
the social networks as a way to promote their brands and advertise their
business in the cyberspace.
One of these companies that have figured out how to take advantage of the
modern times is the Renaissance Las Vegas Hotel, which not long ago started divulging
its new promotional tool, a brand new Facebook page. Renaissance Facebook page
features a video called: "Why Should You Stay at Renaissance Las Vegas"
as well as a collection of photo albums in where customers can check the hotel’s
outstanding accommodations, including a view to some of the 548 spacious guest
rooms and 30 elegant suites, and high-tech amenities and wedding and meetings spaces
specially designed to hold large events such as private parties and ceremonies
as well as business conventions, exhibitions and meetings.
"A whole new world of online opportunities has opened up in the past
few years, and we feel that Facebook is the next natural step for our marketing
efforts. We are excited to step over the precipice into this new era of social
communication, where conversation and interaction are key." said Tom
Xavier, Renaissance’s General Manager.
These social networks are rapidly becoming a highly effective marketing channel
for companies and businesses such as the Renaissance, which uses the new resources
to make large announcements, send invitations and begin a discussions and chats
with guests and possible clients. Former guests are also collaborating by
submitting their own testimonies and pictures, giving other visitors a tinge of
what to expect when visiting this incredible non-gaming, smoke-free
