Blackjack players can experiment
a new way to play their favorite card game with “Blackjack Switch”, a variation
of the classic Blackjack game that allows players to switch cards
between two hands after they are dealt. For example, if the player gets 10-4
and 7-10, then the player can switch the top two cards of each hand to make 10-10
and 7-4. Now, even when the game may seem pretty simple, there are a series of
house rules that players must know before they try the game, which make it more
complicated than what many people think. Since there are several differences
with conventional blackjack, players have to concentrate on every hand and try
to make the correct move to make sure they don't miss any chances to improve their
hand, otherwise players will end up losing their bankroll in a matter of
minutes. Blackjack Switch is a great alternative for blackjack players who want
to experiment an edgier version of the game, however, players must be cautious
and play the game in small doses and get out quick when things start to go bad.
Blackjack
Switch is played with a six-deck shoe and all players at the table are required
to play two hands of equal value. After the hands are dealt, the player has the
alternative of switching the second card dealt between the two hands. Obviously
the house has some advantages; the first is that natural blackjacks are paid
1:1 instead of the standard 3:2; the second is that if the dealer gets 22 then
the hand is considered a “Push” unless the player has blackjack. Other differences
from regular blackjack are that the player may double only on 10 and 11 and
players can split just one time. Another exception from the standard Blackjack
is that the dealer always hits soft 17. There’s also a Super Match option,
players can lay an extra bet on a small circle between the standard bet areas.
The super bet wins if your initial 4 cards contain 2 or more matching cards.
For example, if your right hand is J-7, and your left is J-K, you have a pair
and your super bet wins. The win ratios for the Super Match are written on the
table.
Currently
the game is offered in most Playtech’s online casinos as well as in several
