Tropicana Las Vegas is proud to present the Californian Funk, Rock and R&B prodigies, WAR, together in a pre New Years celebration held on Tuesday, December 30th at 8:00 p.m. at the Tiffany Theater. Since its formation in the 1960’s, WAR has entertained audiences with hits such as "Low Rider", "Why Can't We Be Friends", "Cisco Kid", "Spill the Wine" and many more. WAR, which was recently selected for induction into the 2009 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, has been spreading its message of harmony and tolerance for more than three decades, and so far, its repertoire of music have proved to be timeless with continual success.

Since its debut in 1957, the iconic Tropicana Hotel and Casino has been one of the most legendary Las Vegas landmarks, the Tropicana Las Vegas features six restaurants, an 850-seat Tiffany Theater, three swimming pools surrounded with an abundance of topical plants, palm trees and flowing waterfalls, over 1,800 hotel rooms and 61,000 square feet of casino floor. The hotel is also the residence of Folies Bergere, the longest running stage show in Las Vegas and one of the most archetypal Showgirls and variety productions in town.

In addition to this special musical evening, the Tropicana Las Vegas is also offering some of the lowest room rates for the New Year's Eve in Las Vegas, with rooms starting as low as $143 per night for three nights and $189 per night on December 30th and 31st.
