Producers of the “Jersey Boys”, the Las Vegas show presented at the Palazzo Resort and casino, have recently welcomed the Broadway star, Deven May, as part of the show’s cast starting on December 1st, 2009. May, who’s been part of the “Jersey Boys” national tour, will replace Erik Bates in the role of Tommy DeVito. May has also worked in a series of musical productions in the U.S, including “A Tree Grows in Brooklyn”, “The Ballad of Bonnie and Clyde and in the famous musical “Bat Boy”.

May is joining a cast that includes Erich Bergen (Bob Gaudio), Rick Faugno (Frankie Valli) and Jeff Leibow (Nick Massi). The show’s cast is conducted and directed by the Tony-winning director Des McAnuff and choreographer Sergio Trujillo as well as the scenic designer Klara Zieglerova, costume designer Jess Goldstein, sound engineer Steve Canyon Kennedy, and the music directors Steve Orich and Ron Melrose.

Jersey Boys” is the story of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons, a musical group that became one of the biggest pop music sensations of all time. They wrote their own songs, created their own sound and appeal and sold 175 million records worldwide, all before they got 30. There are currently five productions of Jersey Boys running in New York, London, Chicago, Las Vegas and the North American tour. A sixth production will debut next year in Melbourne, Australia.
