The Women's Ultimate Poker Academy is glad to announce that professional female player and Poker Hall of Fame inductee, Barbara Enright, will officially launch the “Women's Ultimate Poker Academy”(WUPA) next December 6th at the Harrah's New Orleans Hotel in Louisiana. The Women's Ultimate Poker Academy was established in 2008 by partners Lisa Adams and Lauren Failla and is the first all women's poker academy in the world.

Barbara Enright is the only female player that has ever made it into World Series of Poker Main Event Final Table, finishing in 5th place after her pocket eights were bested by a suited 6-3 during the 1995 World Series of Poker. In addition, Enright is the only woman inducted into both the Poker Hall of Fame and the Women's Poker Hall of Fame. The WUPA will offer a free 3 hour-long educational seminar with instructor Barbara Enright, guests are welcome to take part in this activity and learn about Enright’s insight, expertise and experiences as a professionally ranked poker player. Besides Ms. Enright, a number of other professional female poker players will join the WUPA’s training staff including Susie Isaacs, JJ Liu and Karina Jett.

Players, who participate in future WUPA events, will get exclusive hand by hand instruction as well as individual attention from the top female pros in the world of professional tournament poker and personal feedback from their teachers. The next WUPA academy will take place on March 6th and 7th, 2009 at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Fort Lauderdale, Florida,. The cost for this 2-day academy is $1,295 and includes a free-roll into the High Heels Poker Tour Event on March 8th at the Hard Rock Casino. Participants will also get a series of promotional give-a-ways, prizes and more.
