an e-mail released at the beginning of the present week, the online gaming
operator bWin.com has informed its affiliates that the online poker sites PokerRoom.com
and EuroPoker.com
will soon be absorbed by bwin. The two poker rooms were formally acquired by
bwin about three years ago and currently are two of the biggest sites on the
Ongame Network along with Bwin poker and HollywoodPoker.com.
“PokerRoom.com
and EuroPoker.com players will soon become a part of the bwin platform. Every
PokerRoom.com and EuroPoker.com customer will get the possibility to choose to
transfer their account to bwin. This transition presents a unique opportunity
to become a partner of bwin, our best-known and best-converting brand.” states the
company in the e-mail distributed among its affiliates.
Neither PokerRoom.com nor EuroPoker.com have released any official statements commenting the transition
or informing about a possible date for the migration. In addition, there is also no official word about what is
going to happen with PokerRoom.com sister casino, CasinoRoom.com and EuroPoker’s
casino branch.
