Hard Rock International is making the final preparations to open its new 41,000-square foot flagship cafe located on the new Showcase Mall development on the Las Vegas Strip. Scheduled to open in summer 2009, the new Hard Rock Las Vegas is the second largest Cafe launched by Hard Rock International, the 41,000-square feet building has three floors and offers a retail area, restaurant and concert venue.

The first level features 3,364-square-foot Hard Rock Shop offering exclusive brand merchandise, the bar and dining area are located on the second floor and will include a main hall with more than 900 seats as well as a 1,642-square-foot outdoor dining area with a deck overlooking the Las Vegas Strip. In addition, the cafe will also feature hundreds of items and pictures from Hard Rock's exclusive rock 'n' roll memorabilia collection.

According to the company, the actual Hard Rock Cafe Las Vegas located at Hard Rock Hotel and Casino will continue operating as usual and will receive major improvements in the next months as part of the planned expansion of the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino complex.

"The Las Vegas Strip location can best be compared to New York when we moved the Hard Rock Cafe New York from 57th Street to Times Square, where we have tripled sales, and Boston, where we recently relocated the cafe to the Fanueil Hall area and enjoyed incredible success. Las Vegas is the entertainment capital of the world, and there is no better location than our new home on 'The Strip.'" said Hamish Dodds, president and CEO, Hard Rock International.

Hard Rock will hold a job fair at the Las Vegas Hilton to hire the personnel for its new site at the Showcase Mall. The fair will run from Tuesday, July 28th through Wednesday, August 5th, 2009.
