S.G.S. Gaming announced last week that its Two Cards High Poker card game has received the final license approval by the Nevada Gaming Commission after a trial meeting held in Las Vegas on September 17th. Two Cards High poker is a new patent-pending card game which had its U.S. field trial at Boulder Station Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.

The Two Cards High Poker card game is designed for the ease of learning and the thrill of winning. The game is played with a standard deck of cards with all face cards removed (Jacks, Queens and Kings) leaving a 40-card deck. All players compete against the house dealer. The players use all of their cards to create a 3-card 'back hand' that totals 10, 20, or 30 to "qualify," otherwise the player loses.

The remaining two cards become the 'front hand' to face off against the dealers' front hand. If the dealer does not qualify, the dealer pays all the players who have qualified even money. A winning pair against the dealer wins 2-to-1. All ties become a push (no win, no lose). In addition to the mandatory Two Cards High bet, the player can make an optional Poker side bet (Bonus Bet). The Bonus Bet does not need a qualifying had to be paid. The Bonus Bet is based on the player’s five cards, and is paid according to a pay table. Straight Flush pays 100 o 1, 4 of a Kind pays 50 to 1, Full House pays 20 to 1, Straight 12 to 1, 3 of a Kind 3 to 1, 2 Pairs 2 to 1 and a Pair of 7's or better pay 1 to 1.

The game previously completed a field trial at the Paradise Walker Hill casino in Seoul, Korea and has been played there with great success since summer, 2008.

Founded in 2005 and headquartered in Sin City, S.G.S. Gaming has developed two new and original patent-pending card-games, with licenses both overseas and in the U.S.  A variation of the Two Cards High Poker game called Two Cards High Jackpot Poker card game has already been presented to the Nevada Gaming Commission and is also patent-pending.
