Online poker site DoylesRoom.com has announced that 24th years old professional poker player Chris Moorman has been recruited as the fourth member of the elite Brunson 10 poker team.
With career winnings totaling over $1.6 million, the young British pro is already known in the professional poker circuit as one of the most promising players in the present decade. Moorman's professional resume includes more than $1.6 million in lifetime winnings, nine career titles and 124 cashes, in both online and land-based poker tournaments. Moorman is currently ranked in second place at Card Player Magazine's Online Player of the Year contest. While he trails to the first place player by a handful of Online Player of the Year Points, he has more monetary winnings to his name.
"Moorman reminds me a lot of me, except for the British accent. He's a poker natural, a legend in the making, and that's why I've handpicked him to be the next member of The Brunson 10, my new team of elite poker players who truly are young legends of the game." said Doyle Brunson.
The Brunson 10 is an elite poker team exclusively picked by Doyle Brunson to help bridge the gap between old-school and online poker. Besides representing the brand in some of the greatest live tournaments around the world, all members of the Brunson 10 will collaborate with DoylesRoom and advise the site on how to become the largest and best online poker room on the net. Doyles Room launched the Brunson 10 a few months ago with three members: Alec Torelli, Amit Makhija and Zachary Clark. The remaining six players will be selected and announced in the following weeks.
