Online poker site CakePoker.com has enlarged its selection of guaranteed tournaments with the introduction of new daily and weekly events awarding $100 in daily prizes, and more than $500.000 every week.

Cake Poker's new tournament menu was implemented last Monday, October 5th, and features nine daily guaranteed events with buy ins ranging from $22 for the $3.000 Turbo Bounty Guarantee, to $162 for the $20.000 guarantee.

Players finishing in the top 20 positions in any of these events will qualify for Card Player Online Player of the Year points. Players must maintain the same Player ID throughout their tournament play to ensure they receive points. Due the new tournament schedule, Cake's $100,000 Guarantee event has been replaced by the $250,000 Guarantee on the final Sunday of every month. Players can buy seats seats at the $250,000 Guarantee for for $268 or win tickets into the monthly event though the daily satellite events running on the site and starting for as little as $3. In addition, players can redeem their Gold Chips in the Cake Shop to claim an instant seat at the monthly $250,000 Guarantee tournament or take part in the Gold Card Lottery and get one of the10-30 seats to each $250,000 main event.
