The PokerStars.net Asia Pacific Poker Tour is getting ready to end its third season with the $6,300 buy-in APPT Grand Final, which is set to take place from December 1-6 at the Star City Casino in Sydney, Australia.

A wealth of different tournaments are taking place at the Grand Final which looks set to be one of the most exciting poker "festivals" ever held in the Asia Pacific region. The event will also bring some of the best professional poker players on the planet, including Team PokerStars PROs and 2008 World Series of Poker Main Event Champ Peter Eastgate and Joe Hachem as well as fellow team members Lee Nelson, Emad Tahtouh, Tony Hachem, Eric Assadourian and APPT Season 1 Grand Final winner Grant Levy. 2009 APPT champs, Simon Watt, Dermot Blain and Dong-bin Han – have also secured a seat into the Grand Final as part of their prize.

The tournament will kick off next Sunday. November 23rd with the $200 Pink Diamond Ladies No Limit Hold'em tournament. The schedule also features a series of events, including a, PLO event and mega satellites to the Main Event. Side events include the  $15,300 High Roller, a $550 Ladies Tournament, an $1,100 team event, a $3,200 Heads-Up event and the $340 Camp Quality Charity Event in aid of the Australian Children and Families Cancer Charity.

The third annual invitation-only APPT Tournament of Champions event will take place on December 7th. The event features winners from the APPT as well as some of the biggest names in poker competing to help their favorite charities.

Online players still have the chance to qualify for the APPT Sydney through a series of free-to-enter satellite tournaments running at PokerStars.net, and awarding $9,500 packs to the Main Event.
