Air Supply

Air Supply is a soft rock duo from Australia who became famous with a series of romantic hits, such as "Lost in Love", "All Out of Love" and "Even the Nights Are Better" among others. With Graham Russell on guitar and Russell Hitchcock as the lead vocalist, the group has released a total of 18 studio albums and 27 singles throughout their 35-year career.

Hitchcock and Russell met in Melbourne, Australia in 1975 while working on a production of Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice's musical Jesus Christ Superstar. Air Supply began as a harmony vocal group and shortly thereafter released their debut album Air Supply, which achieved gold status in Australia. But it wasn't until 1980 that Air Supply found international success with the album Lost in Love and its three Top Five Singles. The album went on to sell 2 million copies in the U.S. and reached the number 22nd position on the Billboard 200. Air Supply continued their success with The One That You Love in 1981, followed by Now and Forever in 1982. By 1983, Air Supply released a greatest hits album, which featured their biggest hit to date, "Making Love Out of Nothing At All".

Air Supply's latest album Mumbo Jumbo was released in 2010 and features a 14-track musical odyssey about a man's search for meaning in a mythical parallel universe. Now on tour, Russell had this to say about their concerts “People who haven’t seen us before always leave a bit surprised, and in a wonderful way.”
