Bob Dylan

Born Robert Allen Zimmerman in 1941, Bob Dylan is one of the most recognizable singer-songwriters the world has ever known. Dylan rose to fame in the 60s with his politically- charged folk renditions of "Blowin' in the Wind", "Like a Rolling Stone" and "The Times They Are a-Changin'" to name of few. Influenced by the works of Woodie Guthrie, Robert Johnson and Hank Williams, Bob Dylan has recorded many different genres of music throughout his extensive career, such as blues, country, gospel, rockabilly and rock and roll.

Besides being known as one of the greatest songwriters of this generation, Dylan is also an accomplished artist with many of his paintings and drawings published and exhibited in major art galleries. He also boasts an impressive list of awards won over the years including GRAMMYs, Golden Globes and Academy Awards. Dylan has been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame and the Songwriters Hall of Fame.

In 1988, Bob Dylan began his Never Ending Tour which has now played over 2300 shows and features Tony Garnier on bass, multi-instrumentalist Donnie Herron and guitarist Charlie Sexton. Every show of the Never Ending Tour is completely different as Dylan changes up the arrangements and his vocal stylings night after night. In 2011, Dylan announced shows in Taiwan, China, Vietnam and Australia with much controversy following the performances in the communist nation of China. Currently Dylan is touring throughout the world with scheduled performances in Israel, Italy, Germany, Norway and cities throughout the U.S. such as Phoenix, New Orleans and Las Vegas.
