Ice Cube

Born as O'Shea Jackson in 1969, Ice Cube is a multi-talented rapper, actor, director, producer and screenwriter, who began his career as a member of the rap group C.I.A. and more famously N.W.A.

Ice Cube left N.W.A. in 1990 to pursue his career as a solo rapper and released the controversial AmeriKKKa's Most Wanted album the same year. This album launched Ice Cube's career as a solo rap artist with a total of seven studio albums on his own before he formed the group Westside Connection in 1996 with Mack 10 and WC. The group's debut album Bow Down became a huge hit among the West Coast rap fans and their second album Terrorist Threats was released in 2003 with much less fanfare.

These days Ice Cube can be found in movies such as Boys n the Hood, The "Friday" trilogy, Anaconda, Three Kings and Are We There Yet? among others. Ice Cube is also a father of four and has his own clothing line called SOLO by Cube. In 2010 he released his ninth studio album I Am the West, which sold 22,000 copies in the first week.
