Iron Maiden

Iron Maiden is a British heavy metal group formed in London, England with a discography that spans an amazing 36 albums, including 15 studio albums, 11 live albums 4 EPs and 6 compilations. Sometimes referred to as the pioneers of New Wave British Heavy Metal, Iron Maiden is known to be one of the most successful heavy metal bands in history having released a series of platinum and gold albums throughout their more than 35-year career and sold more than 85 million albums around the world.

Iron Maiden's current lineup consists of Bruce Dickinson on lead vocals. Steve Harris on bass, Dave Murray on guitar, Adrian Smith on guitar Nicko McBrain on drums and Janick Gers on guitar. The group also boasts an impressive touring resume, having played over 2000 live shows during their career.

In 2007, Iron Maiden announced the Somewhere Back in Time World Tour, after the Live After Death DVD release. The tour took off with a show to 30,000 fans in Mumbai, India and the biggest live show of their career, 100,000 in Sao Paulo, Brazil. This was also the first time in their career that the group visited Costa Rica and Colombia. After the release of The Final Frontier album in 2010, Iron Maiden began The Final Frontier World Tour with 101 shows scheduled throughout the world.
