Pearl Jam

Since founding the group in 1990, Pearl Jam has consisted of the same members Eddie Vedder on vocals and guitar, Jeff Ament on bass guitar, Stone Gossard on rhythm guitar, Mike McCready on lead guitar and Matt Cameron on drums. Pearl Jam rose to fame during the grunge-era of the early 90s and eventually transitioned to a more alternative rock and hard rock sound throughout the 2000s and more recently.

Pearl Jam has sold over 60 million albums around the world and was even referred to as "the most popular American Rock & Roll Band of the 90s. by Allmusic. Their debut album, Ten, propelled the group into stardom with hits like "Alive", "Even Flow" and "Jeremy" among others. This album remained on the Billboard charts for an incredible 2 years and was certified 13x platinum.

Since the release of Ten in 1991, Pearl Jam has recorded 9 studio albums throughout the 90s and 00s with their most recent album Backspacer released in 2009. This album release was followed by their Backspacer Tour in 2009, which made stops in cities around North America and Oceania. To celebrate their 20th anniversary, Pearl Jam will embark on the Pearl Jam Twenty Tour on September 3, 2011. This concert tour will visit venues across the Northern U.S. and Canada for a total of 12 shows in less than 1 month.
