SantanaFormed in San Francisco in the late 60's with guitarist Carlos Santana as the frontman, Santana became one of the biggest rock groups in history after their legendary performance at Woodstock in 1969. Over the years Santana frequently changed members, but always retained their unique Latin fusion sound. Over the years Santana released an album at least every year totalling 21 studio albums. 7 live albums. 21 compilations and 32 singles. Originally known as the Carlos Santana Blues Band, the first members included Carlos Santana on lead guitar, Tom Fraser on lead vocals & rhythm guitar, Mike Carabello on percussion, Rod Harper on drums, David Brown on bass guitar and Gregg Rolie on organ. As of 2010, Santana has sold over 100 million records, won 10 Grammys, 3 Latin Grammys and reached the number 1 position in the Billboard charts four times. Santana in Las Vegas.
