Tiesto

Born in 1969, Tiesto is a Dutch DJ and musician, known for his trance mixes and worldwide tours, not to mention a host of well-received productions including 2000's remix of Sarah McLachlan's "Silence".

DJ Magazine named Tiesto "World's No. 1 DJ" a total of 3 consecutive times beginning in 2002 until 2004, and that same year, Tiesto performed live during the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, Greece, a performance that was seen by one of the largest TV audiences ever.

These days, Tiesto can be found creating songs for video games and producing tracks with Three Six Mafia, Nelly Furtado and many other pop stars. In 2010 Tiesto released a greatest hits collection entitled Magikal Journey: The Hits Collection 1998-2008, which features a two-disc collection of his most popular songs and remixes.
