Weekend Recap

This Past Weekend at Hard Rock Hotel, Las Vegas: Dustin, Heather, Naomi and Leroy of MTV's "The Real World: Las Vegas" returned to Hard Rock Hotel & Casino this weekend where they lived in a lavish suite for three months during the filming of the 25th season of the popular reality show. On Saturday, June 11 , the group was honored with a unique memorabilia case filled with instruments - most notably, the famous custom-painted guitar crafted by on-air couple and cast members, Dustin and Heather, as seen on Episode 13 entitled, "Leaving Las Vegas."  The project benefited local Make Music Matter charity, which supports music programs across the Valley. Later that same evening, the cast stopped by world-famous tattoo parlor, Hart & Huntington for some new ink and piercings.  Naomi and Leroy were spotted getting inked with new tattoos (Leroy previously got I SURVIVED XXV tattoo while the show was filming) and Heather chose a new piercing in herrright ear.

On Friday, June 10, The Real World team took in a special performance by Simon Rex, aka Dirt Nasty, and his band, the Dyslexic Speedreaders, at Vanity Nightclub.  Rex, fresh off the Charlie Sheen appearance tour, drank mixed drinks during his set and mingled with the girls from the show.
Grammy-nominated pop band Fountains of Wayne caught the Dirt Nasty and the Dyslexic Speedreaders performance Saturday from the band's private VIP table. The set kicked off with their new hit single, "I Can't Dance" before band member Beardo got the crowd going with a sing-along rendition of Beastie Boys' hit, "Fight For Your Right."  Beardo, fresh off a 100-date tour with Ke$ha, performed in the middle of the pool and had people singing into the microphone.
