My husband bought tickets to Garth as a surprise while we were in Vegas for my 40th birthday last year. He gets a bazillion husband points for this one! Garth was AWESOME!! This is a concert like none other. Garth......and only Garth. No band. Just Garth!

He flies into Las Vegas the evening of the show and just might be coming from his daughter's soccer game. He's dressed like a regular person and doesn't apologize for just being himself. He's comfortable with who he is and he makes you feel like your in your living room with him or around a campfire in your backyard. He does some of his classics. He talks with the audience about growing up and how he got to where he is today. Trisha is usually with him so she comes out at one point. (Twice for our show because of a request someone put in.)

And kind of throughout the evening he takes those audience requests. Someone at our show had requested something that Garth had done so long ago he couldn't remember a couple of the words and/chords. Trisha knew the song and came out to sing with him. It was acapella at one point. It was lovely and genuine.

We bought tickets right before Steve Wynn jacked the price up. Our price was reasonable. Your price now will be ridiculous ($256). Wynn saw Garth appeal, fan loyalty and dollar signs. He threw common sense to the wind and made the price out of reach for many Garth fans. I don't feel as though Steve Wynn understands Garth and his fanbase. Wynn is all about the business end of it. Despite Wynn, Garth delivers for you. He is AMAZING!! If it wasn't for Garth I would have nothing to do with Wynn/Encore properties.

This concert is a must see for all who want to experience Garth. It's raw and it's real. It's Garth.
