Speed - The Ride in Las VegasSahara Hotel & Casino Speed-The Ride is a roller coaster located on the Las Vegas Strip at the Sahara Hotel and Casino. This roller coaster ride at the Sahara can be seen and heard from the Las Vegas Strip roaring past about 70MPH forward and then backward. The ride starts at a launch from the inside of the NASCAR Cafe going from 5–35 mph (8.0–56 km/h) in three seconds. This ride is a more thrill then you can imagine. It goes from 0-45 mph in 2 seconds and 35-70 in 2 seconds and the max height of the track is 224 feet up the tower. Taking the loop backwards is the thrill.
