I was there a few years ago and the place is cool if you like egyptian atmosphere and good gaming staff is real friendly and attenative to what you need for drinks and food so all in al I recomend when you goto vegas stop by for some gaming and great service in a friendly atmosphere.

I have been going to Las Vegas since the 60's and have stayed at almost every Hotel in town and this is the best place to stay. They have the best rooms and service even better than the Wynn.

The Venetian is a 5 star hotel and casino, and it deserves all the accolades it has received.

From the general decor of the hotel lobby to the gondolas, shopping, shows, and gaming floor. Everything is top notch. We played craps and roulette and got great service from the wait staff. Aside from the fact the coffee served was scald your mouth hot, it was pretty decent.

Even if you aren't a gambler, there's enough to do inside that you can keep yourself busy. There are two great resident shows, The Blue Man Group and the Phantom of the Opera, along with various other acts they bring in. Shopping is plentiful with a number of shops inside. Grab a snack or dinner in a recreated Italian square, if you're lucky you'll get to see some performers and/or an opera performed for the patrons.

My only gripe, and it's kind of small, is that it's a little isolated from the main parts of the Vegas strip. If you're staying around the Planet Hollywood / CityCenter area it's about 1.5 miles from there to the Venetian so walking is ok if the weather is pleasant, but you'll likely be grabbing a cab during the summer or when it rains.

When we were there recently (Mid-December 2010) the table limits varied with a min bet of $10. We were told that during prime travel periods those were almost always bumped up, usually $15-25$
