Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas
It's all about the music. And the world's first "rock 'n' roll hotel and casino" knows it. From light fixtures created out of drum cymbals and Fender guitar-shaped door handles to the leather-and-steel walls of the parking garage elevator, every aspect of the Hard Rock worships at the altar of rock.
Forget Monet, Van Gogh and Picasso, the artwork decorating the Hard Rock leans more toward painted leather, denim suits and feathered boas. Leather jackets from Aerosmith, the Ramones, U2 and many more are enshrined in cases lining the casino's walls. Motorcycles once owned by Nikki Sixx of Mötley Crüe and Matt Sorum of Guns N' Roses guard the entrance to the casino pit, autographed guitars stretch down the main hallway and outrageous costumes and memorabilia (Madonna's underwear! Beatles' talcum powder!) can be found in every nook and cranny.
All the memorabilia just scratches the surface of the Hard Rock's devotion to the spirit of rock 'n' roll. The entire resort has a hedonistic atmosphere reminiscent of a backstage bacchanal.
Hard Rock Hotel & Casino is a great option for a hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The Hard Rock- a rockin hotel
In contrast to the Bellagio's older vibe, the Hard Rock offers a young, hip scene for partygoers in Las Vegas. The downfall of this hotel is its location- its off the strip (however the cab fare from the airport is cheap!)- so one must usually cab to clubs/the strip. The hotel interior is great. I appreciated little details like rock lyrics lining the walls of the elevators etc. The service was great, the concierge was friendly, and I felt very comfortable roaming the hotel/casino at all hours. The rooms were the best surprise! The decor was great, very young and stylish. We had a view of the beach pool (which we unfortunately did not get to enjoy due to the cool climes). The room was relatively large, with a nice big vanity outside the bathroom for my girls and I to get ready at. They had some yummy products for their shampoo/body wash line (I forget the brand). In general, it was a great stay at The Hard Rock and I would recommend this hotel for groups of younger people due to the general atmosphere of the place. Just don't forget you will be cabbing to the strip (pray for that fun cab driver!).
