Emeril Lagasse has done it again! This steakhouse was excellent! My husband and I went there on a recent trip and Delmonico was my choice. We started with a salad. My husband had the wedge salad and he enjoyed it. I had the wilted spinach salad. Oh, my gosh!! The wilted spinach salad was so awesome! The carmelized pecan bacon and fried poached egg made this salad tasty and memorable. Great starter!

My husband ordered the bone in rib eye and was very satisfied. The size of the steak was perfect for his appetite. It was not a tiny piece of meat. You got what you paid for. It was cooked perfectly and the aging of the beef provided top notch flavor. I had the filet mignon cooked medium well. Perfect! Flavor was fantastic! The meat was very tender and couldn't have been cooked any better.

The only thing that was something other than what I expected was the decor. I expected a dark wood, leather interior with exposed brick...etc. Don't get me wrong. The interior of the restaurant was very classy, crisp and clean. I just had an expectation that was differnt than how it actually was but it was a great environment.

Our wait staff was excellent as well. Look for Michael Jackson Jr. while you are there. He offered great service to us and was so helpful in making some decisions about wine, food, etc. Great personality and so glad he was there during our visit.

HIGHLY recommend Delmonico!

I have eaten at a couple of Emeril's New Orleans restaurants and loved them. I was beyond excited to try Emeril's outpost in Sin City. I am sad to say that if Delmonico is any indication, Emeril's restaurants in LV are mere shadows of their New Orleans counterparts.

The room itself was attractive, but very noisy. There was a large group of very drunk men nearby which did not really add to the ambiance. Our server was indifferent to us at best. I explained that I had a food allergy and he replied that it was on the reservation ticket. I told him that I just wanted to remind him and he didn't seem to care very much. When our steaks arrived he put three sauces down with them. He pointed in a vague direction and said to me "Oh, you can't have THAT one". It had the very item I was allergic to in it! Why even bring it to the table?

Our steaks were decent, but nowhere near the quality I'd experienced at Emeril's other restaurants. Based upon food and the experience, I don't think I'll be dining at Delmonico again.
