Come and discover another side of Cirque du Soleil. Zumanity is a provocative exhibition of human sensuality, arousal and eroticism, unveiled August 14, only at New York-New York Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas.
Zumanity is a show for lovers, would-be lovers, and anyone whose imagination has ever been sparked by the idea of love. The international cast, consisting of 50 eclectic and flirtatious performers and musicians, will reach out to take the audience on a 90-minute encounter, awakening most primal urges to a new form of eroticism blending movement, style, acrobatics, uninhibited costumes and beautiful bodies with the sensual caress of the human voice and insistent pulse of exotic rhythms.
Writer and Director Rene Richard Cyr is a versatile and creative director who gained experience as an actor, writer, director, and producer. Cyr collaborated with long time partner Dominic Champagne to complete the final touches on the show. These two creative minds accomplished the challenging feat of creating a show that celebrates the human body in a tasteful way as well as incorporating the vibrant spirit of Cirque du Soleil. Creative Director Andrew Watson and Costume Designer Thierry Mugler join Cyr and Champagne to finish out the heart of the creation team.
While this is not “O” or Mystere it is a Cirque du Soleil show that delivers a quality product. However, this is an adult show you have to be prepared for the erotic and sensual nature of the performances. You will see things that you have never experienced in Cirque du Soleil shows. This is an adult show and you must avoid it if you offend easily.
