Las Vegas has a long standing reputation for hosting the greatest comedy shows on earth.  The city of glamour, glitz and excitement has been home over the years to the best of the best comics like Bob Hope, Jerry Lewis and Richard Pryor.  Often referred to as the “entertainment capital of the world”, Las Vegas is one of the best places in the world to see the funniest comedy performers live. With so many exciting venues like Caesars Palace, the MGM Grand Arena, Mandalay Bay, Mirage Hotel and Casino, and the Palms Resort and Casino, which have the major headliners for comedy shows in Las Vegas, it’s relatively easy to catch big names in hilarious performances.  Comedy shows in Las Vegas with the lesser known artists can be found performing at places like Harrah’s, Flamingo, Sahara and the smaller casinos.

You can also catch good comedy shows in Las Vegas at the Las Vegas comedy clubs.  The Rivera Comedy Club at the Rivera Hotel and Casino has a Las Vegas comedy show nightly.  This 350 seat venue is a great place to find several headliners as well as a few up and comers.  Other Las Vegas comedy clubs where you can catch a good show are at Whiskey Pete’s and Buffalo Bills.  These Las Vegas comedy clubs have shows on Friday and Saturday nights so call early to get a list of performers and information on tickets.
