The Producers

The Producers is now playing at Paris Las Vegas!  See the Mel Brooks musical that’s won more awards than any show in history, including 12 Tony Awards.  The storyline is a comedy classic: a crooked producer and his accountant cook up a scheme to present a massive trainwreck of a theatrical fiasco – and pocket their investors’ money before the curtain falls.

The Producers the hit Mel Brooks comedy playing exclusively at Paris Las Vegas, is proud to welcome Tony Danza to the cast of the twelve-time Tony-winning musical.  Danza is re-creating the role he played in New York: Max Bialystock, the scheming Broadway mogul who attempts to stage the worst play ever in the hopes of pocketing his investors’ cash.

Tony Danza is best known for his work on long-running sitcoms like Taxi and Who’s the Boss as well as his film career, which included a role in the 2004 Academy Award winner Crash.  He also turned in a critically acclaimed portrayal of Rocky in the Broadway revival of Eugene O’Neill’s The Iceman Cometh, opposite Kevin Spacey.  He also hosted the syndicated Tony Danza Show, a daytime talk show, from 2004 through 2006.

The Producers stars Tony Danza as scheming, down-on-his-luck Max Bialystock, Larry Raben as mousy, anxiety-ridden accountant Leo Bloom and the lovely Leigh Zimmerman as Swedish secretary Ulla.  Larry and Leigh are recreating the roles they played in the Broadway production of The Producers.
