Gray Line's Original Mini Hoover Dam Tour from Las Vegas

Gray Line's Mini Hoover Dam Tour takes you to Hoover Dam where you'll have two hours to explore and take in the Power Plant Tour all included in this mini price.

Check out the museum and the exhibit areas, the power plant 500 feet down, watch a movie on the dam's construction, and see Oskar J.W. Hansen's renowned sculptures on the Nevada side commemorating the building of Hoover Dam. Hoover Dam, standing 700 feet high, is more than a concrete edifice. Built to harness the power of the Colorado River, the dam is one of the largest in the world, is greater in volume than the largest pyramid in Egypt, and produces more than 2,000 megawatts of hydroelectric power, supplying Nevada, California, Colorado and Arizona with a significant portion of their energy.

A visitors' center provides views of Lake Mead, opportunities to learn more, to buy a gift, or simply to browse. A tour not to be missed - half a day well spent, and you're back to your hotel in time for lunch. Plus, if you purchase The Mini Hoover Dam Tour with Helicopter Flight Option, your tour includes a 12 to 15 minute flight over the Hoover Dam, Lake Mead, and Black Canyon. Depart Boulder City Airport and soar above historic Boulder City then onto Hoover Dam. You will be flown at a lower altitude than any of their other tours giving you a one-of-a-kind view of this man made wonder. Continue your tour while flying through beautiful Black Canyon before your return to Boulder City Airport.

We took the Hoover Damn Tour two years ago before the bridge was completely finished. We also included the Lake Mead cruise. It included lunch on the boat and a cash bar on the top level. We found the Hoover Damn to be amazingly massive! It was a beatiful trip down and the guides were very informative about the surroundings. We had a great time and would do it again!

The Grand Tour to Hoover Dam was Fun. We had Box lunches like we were on a picnic. There weren't many people on the tour bus so we all had personal treatment. The guide was very informative and lots of fun. His driving was great. He told us where we might see goats and low and behold we saw a few. Then we went and saw the Hoover Dam. Awesome, magestic and unbelievable what is really on this earth!! We went and saw the movie then the tour down under. WOW! We got to walk around for a bit then it was time to board the bus and go to the candy factory. Of course we were able to go on a tour of the factory and saw how they made their candy and taste test it. We also came back with some. We had another box lunch and saw the gardens. and all too soon we were back to the hotel. We will use them to go on another tour when we go to Vegas again. We had lots of fun with them.
