The Deuce

The Deuce - Las Vegas Boulevard

The Deuce on the Strip is a double decker bus serving the heart of the Las Vegas Strip on a 9 mile route and is designed for the tourist. With the traffic in mind it is a slow nostalgic route but one to take if you do not have to be anywhere soon.

This route starts at the South end of the Las Vegas Strip at Madalay Bar and heads North threw center Strip and to Downtown Freemont Experience.

The Ace Goldline

Is a quick transfer line that can zip you from Deuce at the Wynn Casino and transfer you to continue north to the Las Vegas Convention Center. Also another point is at the Mandalay Bay which will take you South to Town Square and the Las Vegas Outlets Mall.

Great value and excellent mode of transportation

The transit system in Vegas for the Strip and downtown area is the way to get around. The price is right and the transportation is easy to figure out. The Deuce is great for use on the Strip and the Express is the way to get downtown. The Express doesn't stop at all of the stops that the Deuce does but they run the same routes.

The only catch to the system is that if you use cash to get a pass you must have the exact amount and the machines are picky with what condition of bills they will take. You can use a credit card at these machines and I would highly recommend it. It will save you a headache.

Use public transportation. You won't be sorry.

Excellent Service

With a route structure that can get you anywhere you (tourist) would want to go, frequent service on the most
popular routes and good pricing (with the one or 3 day passes) the CAT is the best transportation value for the
budget minded visitor to Las Vegas. Yes, travel is slow on the strip during rush hour, but all in all, a great
value.

A Vegas Survival MUST

It's great walkin around in Vegas, because (especially if you don't get ther often) you don't want to miss a thing. However, at some point you will get tired. Enter...The Deuce. It's so easy to get off and on the Deuce. Once you've studied the schedule for just a bit, you'll realize you can get most anywhere from Fremont Street, north of the strip, to the outlet malls, way south of the strip. We discovered The Deuce on our first visit to Vegas several years ago and use it on a regular basis every time we are there. Highly recommended.

GREAT WAY TO GET AROUND

$15 gets you a 3 day pass...and you can get to just about everywhere with it, and a little knowledge of the routes. Go to Freemont street from the Strip for under $2, or use the route that runs directly behind the hotels, much less congested, but does not run as often as the Deuce. Download a route map and plan ahead.
