Final Nine 2007 World Series at Las Vegas
Who are you routing for to win the 8.2 million dollar first prize in this years 2007 World Series at Las Vegas Main Event. Here are the final nine players in chip order. Today’s event starts at 12 o’clock. The viewing of this years WSOP can be seen on pay-per-view.
- Philip Hilm who comes onto the final table with the chip lead and will be sitting in seat #3 with 22 million in chips. Phil Hilm has one previous cash at the World Series at Las Vegas it was in the $2500 No-Limit Event where he placed 33rd. Phil is 31 years old and a native of Denmark who now resides in England.
- Tuan Lam who is a slight second in chips to Phil Hilm and is sitting in seat #6 with 21 million in chips. Tuan has two previous cashes at the World Series at Las Vegas, one in 2006 in the $1500 Limit where he placed 46th and one at the 2005 No-Limit $1000 buy- in where he placed 76th. Tuan is 41 years old and is a native of Vietnam who now resides in California.
- Jon Kalmer who has a chip count of 20 million is just on the heels of the two front runners and is sitting in seat #1 next to the dealer. Jon has one previous cash at a World Series at Las Vegas event which was in the main event at the 2005 World Series at Las Vegas where he took 82nd place. Jon is 34 years old and is a native of England.
- Raymond Rahme has a chip count of 16 million and is the oldest of the nine players. Raymond is 62 and is a native of Africa who is now retired. Raymond is sitting in seat #5 with Tuam Lam to his right.
- Lee Childs will be sitting in seat # 2 and has a chip count of 13 million. Lee has no previous cashes at the World Series at Las Vegas. Lee is 35 years old and is from Washington, DC.
- Lee Watkinson who is the Vegas favorite has 9 million and will be sitting in seat #8. Lee has nine total cashes in prior World Series at Las Vegas events going back to the 2004 World Series at Las Vegas where he cashed in three events, most notable where he got second in the Pot-Limit Omaha. In 2005 he also cashed in three events one was the Main Event where he placed 45th. In 2006 he had two cashes and won a bracelet in the Pot-Limit Omaha. In this years 2007 WSOP he already has two cashes under his belt. Lee is 40 years old and is a native of Washington State who now resides in Vegas.
- Hevad Khan is sitting in seat #9 next to the dealer with 9 million in chips. Hevad has two cashes in this years World Series at Las Vegas both in the $1500 buy-in events. Hevad is the youngest of the players sitting at the table at 22 years old, and a native of Poughkeepsie, NY.
- Jerry Yang has a chip count of 8 million and is sitting in seat #4. Jerry has no prior cashes at the WSOP and is a native of Vietnam.
- Alex Kravchenko is sitting in seat #7 and has the short stack of all the players with 6 million in chips. Alex along with Lee Watkinson is the only other bracelet winner at the table. Alex has six cashes at the World Series at Las Vegas all with the exception of one have been at this years events. His bracelet was won in the $1500 Omaha Hi-Low Split 8 or Better. Alex is 36 years old and is a native of Russia.
