Tom McEvoy Biography
Tom McEvoy was born on November 14th 1944 in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He is married and has three children and currently resides in Las Vegas, Nevada. When Tom was only five his grandmother taught him and his brothers how to play poker. Since then he has been working to improve his game. He studied at Ferris State University. After college he started working as an accountant. In 1978 he lost his job and realized he could make much more money playing poker full time. Four-time bracelet winner, Tom McEvoy is considered as a true gentleman and a great ambassador for the sport. Tom is also the author of six books on poker. As of 2006 his live tournament winnings amount to $2,266,717.
