The price is right and the transportation is easy to figure out. The Deuce is great for use on the Strip and the Express is the way to get downtown. The Express doesn't stop at all of the stops that the Deuce does but they run the same routes. The only catch to the system is that if you use cash to get a pass you must have the exact amount and the machines are picky with what condition of bills they will take. You can use a credit card at these machines and I would highly recommend it. It will save you a headache. Use public transportation. However, at some point you will get tired. Enter...The Deuce. It's so easy to get off and on the Deuce. Once you've studied the schedule for just a bit, you'll realize you can get most anywhere from Fremont Street, north of the strip, to the outlet malls, way south of the strip. We discovered The Deuce on our first visit to Vegas several years ago and use it on a regular basis every time we are there. Go to Freemont street from the Strip for under $2, or use the route that runs directly behind the hotels, much less congested, but does not run as often as the Deuce.
