The rooms were nothing special, but they were clean and tidy. The hotel has a good selection of bars and restaurants and the staff was uniformly friendly. The pool area was well-kept if uninspired. I had the misfortune of being there during spring break so there were a lot of kids running around. Not exactly the most relaxing thing, but that's my fault for booking during that time.

My least favorite thing about Harrah's would have to be the casino. The layout makes it seem small and the colors are garish (even more so than in a typical casino!). What makes Harrah's for me is it's great location. It feels like it's smack-dab in the middle of everything. There is a little outdoor area with shops and kiosks hawking t-shirts and various other souvenirs. It is adjacent to Carnaval Court, a fun outdoor area with a bar and live music.

I would probably stay at Harrah's again although I do have other properties that I like better. It's a nice middle-of-the-road place at a good price (especially if you end up getting it comped!).

We found Harrahs and fell in love with their great hotel. We won at the games, had wonderful evenings of entertainment and enjoyed all the restaurants they offered. For a truly busy (or not) vacation, they have it all. The employees always were helpful whenever we needed them. We have visited other Harrahs properties around the U.S. and found them to be just as entertaining. I think the best conversation we had, was, when they ASKED US if there was anything they could do for us. Hugs to Harrahs!!
