If you visit Ethel M on the days when the factory is running, you get to see the actual process of making chocolates. We have been there a couple of times -- once when the factory was running, and another time when we watched videos on the chocolate making process (the factory was not running). At the end of the tour you are offered a free sample. You then get to shop for chocolate! The display is surrounded by plexiglass. You can walk through a cave under the display and watch the lions above you. One time, as I was walking through the cave, I caught the eye of one of the lions. She was staring at me for about 2 minutes (maybe it was my sparkly earings that caught her eye), and she was only a couple of feet above my head! On some days, they bring the lion cubs into the display. They are so cute to watch! It was fun and we were given free stuff (key chain, coupons, T-shirts, etc.). We watched a couple of shows (yet to be released) and were asked questions about our feelings regarding the shows. We watched a rather entertaining comedy and my husband and I were the only people laughing out loud! It was funnny! I guess we were there to really help CBS with their evaluation vs. being there just for the free stuff! I couldn't believe when I got in there that it was so big, 3 stories of everything m&m you could imagine from clothes to cups, jewelry to kids stuff all of it was so neat ! I bought my son a soft throw blanket and he absolutely loved it ! You could spend hours just looking at all the stuff they have. You could even take a picture next to the many m&m statues they had withe the welcome to las Vegas sign next to them ! Wow! what can I say but wow! A nice stroll down this street is a cool experience With all the lights an arch of lights that seem to go on forever that change constantly while playing all kinds of music from new to oldies. At the same time we watched people zip lone along the arch of lights which was so awesome to watch it looked Like so much fun ! The older casinos were nice and the drinks Were good and everyone seemed so happy it was a very good experience ! Don't miss it ! Its like you're throwing yourself off the 108 floors (Yes I am aware there is another thriller at the Strat called the Sky Jump) but, instead of going directly down its like being thrown into outter space, Yes I am now an astronaut, well at least i felt that way every 5 seconds as it throws u into the air and shoots u straight back down... It is a MUST DO!
