Alternatively, after lunch enhance your experience with a helicopter ride over the North Canyon. Glide above the Colorado River, along some of the widest parts of the canyon. Your wide-windowed helicopter affords you unobstructed views of the Canyon. This addition will substitute the stops at Mather and Yavapai Points.

You will have time to browse Bright Angel Lodge, its gift shops, museum and snack shop. You are a short walk to Hopi House, the Indian art museum and gift shop.
